Pre-Delivery Checks for a New NEVO or Qiyuan Q05

A new vehicle still needs identity and condition checks before export. Storage, inland transport, configuration errors and missing equipment can affect a car with little recorded use. Separate the global NEVO Q05 BEV from the earlier Qiyuan Q05 PHEV, and describe what new means in the commercial record. A pre-delivery check is not a substitute for a full used-car inspection when prior registration or use changes the candidate status.

Check a new Q05 before export with VIN identity, transport damage, charging demonstration, accessories, account access and a dated exception record.

01

Confirm what the seller means by new

Ask for registration status, production date, mileage evidence and the explanation for any prior movement or demonstration use. Define whether the offer is unregistered, previously registered or otherwise subject to a different documentary status. Do not infer legal classification from a low odometer. Keep the seller statement beside supporting records and have destination eligibility assessed through the appropriate professional route. The Q05 new-versus-used guide explains the broader buying distinction. If the status does not match the quotation, clarify it before inspection is treated as successful. A clean vehicle can still be unsuitable if the agreed export or import classification is wrong.

02

Match specification and supplied equipment to the order

Verify the VIN, original market, propulsion family, steering side and agreed grade. For a global BEV, reconcile any motor-power distinction with the applicable documentation rather than assuming the Thailand reference describes every export model. Use the 99 kW and 120 kW specification checks where relevant. Record keys, charging cables, manuals and other promised items individually. Check that the vehicle and accessory inventory are the ones named in the contract schedule. Do not let a substitute car inherit the previous approval because its colour and badge match. Equipment exceptions should be visible before the payment decision.

03

Inspect storage and transport condition

Obtain dated exterior, cabin and underbody observations before loading, including easily missed lower edges, glass, wheels and protective panels. Record any existing marks so arrival disputes have a usable baseline. Inspect tyres for damage or deterioration and request an appropriate check of the 12V system if storage has been prolonged. Do not assume protective plastic proves the car has no transport damage. The Q05 storage and wake-up guide covers practical electrical observations, while consequential underbody concerns require qualified inspection. The condition record should identify the actual VIN and inspection date rather than presenting a general dealer preparation checklist.

04

Demonstrate charging and essential operation

Arrange a safe supported charging demonstration appropriate to the candidate inlet and charging capability. Record the equipment, session conditions, warning messages and whether the normal connection and disconnection procedure works. A cable included in the boot is not proof of compatibility or inlet function. Demonstrate normal starting, keys, lighting, windows and important ordered cabin features without staging unsafe driver-assistance tests. The Q05 charging and connector guide defines the compatibility questions; the equipment verification guide helps select grade-specific functions. Keep faults separate from unsupported app or regional services so the remedy addresses the actual issue.

05

Close documentary and connected-service exceptions

Check the vehicle identity across the quotation, inspection, export records and loading schedule. Confirm which documents accompany the shipment and who is responsible for outstanding items. Where app features are part of the purchase, record buyer registration and supported account access separately from local screen operation. Use the account and regional-access guide where a former or dealer account remains involved. New status is not a worldwide warranty promise, so retain the actual applicable support terms. Unresolved registration, service or hardware questions should remain explicit exceptions rather than being buried in a statement that the vehicle passed preparation.

06

Approve a dated handover pack and repeat after damage

The final record should state the VIN, condition status, inspection date, agreed equipment, charging result, documentary position and remaining exceptions. Name who authorises release and who owns any corrective work. Keep the buyer approval tied to the specific pack, not an open-ended message to send any suitable Q05. If damage, repair or substitution occurs after inspection, update the affected evidence before loading. Use the Q05 shipping guide to preserve the loading condition and the arrival and first-month checks to compare destination observations against the pre-export baseline. This creates a usable chain of evidence rather than a ceremonial checklist.

07

Buyer approval checklist

Use these fields as a candidate-specific decision record. Assign each unresolved item before approving payment or shipment.

  • New status and documents agreed
  • VIN and market equipment match order
  • Storage and transport condition recorded
  • Charging and essential functions demonstrated
  • Exceptions closed or explicitly accepted

Pre-Delivery Checks for a New NEVO or Qiyuan Q05: buyer questions

Does a new Q05 need charging and condition checks?

Yes. New status does not prove correct configuration, transport condition, accessory completeness or charging compatibility.

Can a pre-delivery report transfer to a substitute VIN?

No. Recheck identity and affected evidence for the replacement vehicle before approval.
